Just returned from a lovely weekend with the family at Gunsgreen. Our 4th visit and as enjoyable as ever. Comfortable and spacious accomodation, great views and a relaxed atmosphere. What's not to like?

The museum display is very good and gives an interesting insight into the history of the area. Also friendly welcome at the entrance. Shame that upper part of house is now rented out and no longer available to the public.

The visit to the house lasted about 45 minutes. We had a lovely time exploring the basement which is quite tactile. The next floors up were also interesting and the children’s attention was kept with the rat game, the tea-coding, and what would the present...More

Enjoyed our wee visit here with two girls 6 and 8. They loved the activity and gift at the end. Was about £14 for an adult and two kids. Only took us about 30 mins to wizz round it. Maybe older kids would be more...More

Great for kids, they really enjoyed it here and loved all the secret places. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very interesting history and I love how they have left bits unrepaired and exposed old wall and floor coverings as this is one of my favourite...More

Great place to visit if you are interested in architecture and history. Restoration of the house is excellent and details of how the owner really engaging.
