Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

On a charter yacht visited the inner harbour marina twice within one week and despite being able to access the very poor quality showers after 5.00pm couldn’t access the toilet area. Tried at 4.30pm and 9.30am and the toilet facilities remained shut. This is supposed to be a national heritage place but the hours of opening seem strange in such a busy port that only has basic amenities in the ferry terminal. If the ferry terminal is shut there aren’t any toilet or reasonable washing facilities in the marina. Yachts can manage but this must be a wasted business opportunity. Lots of passing trade willing to pay the 40p entry.

We visited the female toilets. Very clean. Beautifully decorated inside. There are baskets of female toiletries for you to help yourself to, if you need them.
The only downside was that the cubicle was rather small for myself and young daughter to use at the same time.

Visiting in 1998 and they look the same in 2021. Both times when berthed in the marina. Very poor facilities considering the rate (£30 overnight). Quicker to use ferry terminal toilets and showers very average. Advertised as for public use but all have key pass codes now and no attendant.

Cracking toilets, I thoroughly enjoyed urinating in them! I took my daughter here on a day out they were that good! Only problem is that another man tried to break my door down. I'm 57, you know, that was scary for me! But I did meet a lovely chap called Colin, he was very nice and gave me some paper. If you're in the area, please visit, it's well worth the scary man when there's luxury like this.

Was a real surprise to see what has been retained in these. Victorian toilets. Brass/granite fixtures and fittings kept immaculately. 40p donation on entry. Well worth a brief rest stop here

It’s interesting to see what public toilets looked like in Victorian times, and indeed these are still working!!
My wife advised that the Ladies had been somewhat modernised but the Gents. we’re still pretty much original.
But, that’s it, time to move on…
We took the Bus Tour. Fabulous

Nipped in for a quick look and studied the amazing porcelain urinals and see though cisterns above. Beautiful tiled floors and old wash hand basins. A real step back in time experience that is free to enter.

Beautiful toilets for the gents. Great to see how these looked in victorian times. Whilst not all areas are fully functioning they are still beautiful and amazing to see. Sadly it is only the gents toilets as the ladies are more modern but definitely not nice.

These are not just any publuc toilets, they victorian toilets. The ladies however are quite modern, i believe it was because of vandals but the mens are original from the victorian era. Worth a look!

Nice Toilets
The seat were nice and comfy and the stalls had plenty of leg room and the paper was soft.
Decor was beautiful a pleasure to spend a penny
