Good informative museum, spread across 5/6 rooms, included several of the famous Harris chessmen... the museum is free which is great, although given its relative size it’s probably no more than a 45 min ish visit

Absolutely loved this museum with its information on community life in particular. Loved the film where islanders talk about themselves and their view of island life. Also the saga telling of the Lewis chessmen. Fascinating glimpses into island life over the ages.thoroughly recommended
