This relatively new museum is a gem! Not only is it free, it's engaging and just the right size for getting a taste without having to commit an entire day. In fact, it's the perfect size for waiting out one of Scotland's regular rainy spells....More

The extension that houses the museum is a super contrast to the original castle building. Clad in zinc, the silver finish sets the building off in contrast to the castle. It has been well fitted out inside with the different rooms used to good advantage...More
