The castle itself is magnificent. But the cafe has no outside view, and whilst reasonably attractive is similar to hundreds of self service cafes up and down the country. It could be anywhere. It is not enhanced by the staff hollering "two cappuccinos" or whatever...More

wanted lunch, but café not dog friendly, despite being in walking area beside the harbour. went to The Crown instead which was absolutely amazing and dog friendly, walked around the castle downstairs which had no visitor information at all, very disappointed.

Not in the Museum ok in grounds not sure about cafe but didn’t see any dogs there

The apartment we stayed in had a washing machine and there was detergent provided. Hope this is of some help. Kind regards.

Hi, You would need to fly into Stornoway Airport and from here you would be able to get a taxi to the Castle. Unfortunately we don't currently offer ground transfers. Thanks
