My grandfather was from this community, so I was eager to learn a bit about his highland childhood. It was fun to poke around and look at the pictures and artifacts. The helpful staff brought out some school pictures from the early 1900's so we...More

This a very small museum and some areas were interesting. However there is a lot of rubbish in there too. Maybe I'm not old enough to appreciate the toys and found these areas disappointing. The stories and info on the walls I found interesting though

On the old station site and entered via the shop there is a fair amount to see including a DVD on the history of the place. Cost £2.50 each for a concession and was good value for money though the museum is quite small

A great way to spend an hour or so. Good to be able to look back at the past - several toys will take you back to your childhood. The short film is very emotional - showing how people lived not all that long ago....More

This place certainly evoked memories of childhood. Small and compact but filled with memorabilia. The lady was very nice and very pleasant which enhanced the experience. lots of exhibits and an entertaining and informative video.
