Beautiful area very quiet. Make sure you have plenty of fuel and food. Walk along south edge f loch and Balgy waterfall walk particularly good.

Don't get me wrong the scenery is stunning. And the village is quaint and cosy. The small island in the middle of the loch apparently boasts holding habitats for endangered species. But... as all things on this planet it only takes a selfish bumbling moron...More

We stopped in this cute village for a snack break while on a tour of the Highlands. The quaint village was a delight as was the views. We highly recommend Nanny's for great scones.

We walked here for hours with our dogs and hardly saw a single person. Some absolutely breathtaking scenery.

The scenery is outstanding. We took a hike from the town up into the hills nearby and the view from there was breathtaking. It's a perfect place to stay for a few days and unwind. Unfortunately we had to hit the road after one night.

Exquisite location with breathtaking views which are a must see. Well worth the long drive. There a few stops to catch the view but not enough and you are not permitted to use the passing places.
