The guide at Urquhart Castle told us about this place during our tour. If you’re by car it’s not even 15 minutes away, so you should make the small detour if your trying to stay close to Loch Ness. The place itself was not busy...More

This is a very historic place to visit - Ancient Cairns are top of my mums list, so we had to visit this once we learned of it's existence! It's around a 20 minute drive West of Drumnadrochit. It is down a country lane, so...More

I have a fascination with Cairns so its not hard to see why I gave a 5 star review. Easily accessible by car, quite a ways away from Loch Ness tourist area to walk. Free parking and not busy at all. I understand tour groups...More

This ancient burial ground is full of history and mystery. The best way to find it is as part of a tour group.

Lovely area to drive through. Attraction was clearly signposted and near the main road. Once there, it did not take long to see. As someone else said, it is a pile of stones Still interesting to see and to wonder how they built it!

Always amazed at the history in little out of the way places. Stopped by here on my way from Tomich to Loch Ness, and it was easy to find and a fun 5 minute diversion off the main road. Parking is about 100 yards before...More

Visited whilst taking dog for a walk nearby and on another occasion to show visitors a little bit of local history. Fascinating cairn - makes you wonder how they lifted the really big stones into place!!??

Its a well secluded but worth finding attraction. its hard to believe that this is still standing after 4000 years! there is a small gate to get thru so not really wheel chair accessible.
