Our tour bus took us here and it ended up being very interesting to see the stone circle and hear that there are many such cairns scattrrec around Scotland. Still a mystery why this one was not used

We thoroughly enjoyed this well preserved chambered cairn. We had to ask directions in Drumnadrochit at the visitor's information building, but it was then easy to find. Another review mentioned not climbing on the cairn, however the sign at the site indicates wearing "stout footwear...More

Free-of-charge remains from Iron Age, small but interesting, worth a visit if you are in the area, parking nearby

We visited here on a whim and weren’t disappointed. A really enchanting stone Cairn that dates back 4000 years. The boys enjoyed cloning through to the chamber and the whole area had a mysterious feel to it. A short trip but one we enjoyed.

The guide at Urquhart Castle told us about this place during our tour. If you’re by car it’s not even 15 minutes away, so you should make the small detour if your trying to stay close to Loch Ness. The place itself was not busy...More

This is a very historic place to visit - Ancient Cairns are top of my mums list, so we had to visit this once we learned of it's existence! It's around a 20 minute drive West of Drumnadrochit. It is down a country lane, so...More
