Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Supposed to be an award winning beach, but access for less abled and disabled people is impossible. Also no toilets nearby, apart from a short trek to the campsite. The beach itself is fantastic. But the amenities could be a lot better.

Really nice beach, parking right beside it. Nice for a walk along the sand and not too busy! 100% recommend and would definitely go back!

Stunning scenery all the way up the coast from Ullapool to Durness. The caves are worth exploring. The sand dune beach is another beautiful area.

Beautiful beach. We visited when it was raining and very windy but it didn't stop us from enjoying our time on the beach it's just so picturesque.

Great for walks and swimming, paddle boarding etc. Sandy, reasonable access and pretty quiet. This is an artist dream.

Beach is fantastic unlike the campsite that overlooks it. Would recommend parking just down the road from the big campsite, have a walk on the beach and move on as there are far better sites along the route. Don’t forget to help the local economy by purchasing something from the local shops and also keep your speed down as you are in a built up area.

Well worth a visit if anywhere near. We were touring by camper van over Christmas and lots of things closed but the drive, views and beach all made it worthwhile. Make sure you drive the signposted costal route to see everything rather than bypass it all

This is another example of a simply beautiful beach in this area of the Highlands. We had hoped to stop and chill for a while but unfortunately it was drizzly on the morning we arrived.
We still took a stroll right along and back though and actually the weather added a new dimension to it giving it a wilder feel whilst still maintaining the lovely golden sand and crystal clear water.

We visited this beach on our NC500 trip. There was actually a small wedding taking place at the beach which was simply stunning. The views were unbelievable and the water was crystal clear!

Really nice walk on the beach or near it. The water isn't too cold and the dog loved it! There is a bit where you have to walk round a massive rock by going up on the path - then coming back down the other side.

We went on a clear day and it was quite enjoyable.
