Visited with family in January when it's not as crowded but still found the place very interesting and beautiful. Had a chance to talk to the nice gentleman responsible for the gardens and found the conversation very informative. Recommended for couples and family visits.

Spectacular walk around a beautiful wooded garden. Lots of information about the various flora and was lovely to see so many red squirrels. Would love to come back in the spring and summer, must be incredible.

The gardens are quite compact but make up for that with the winding paths that take you to most parts of the garden, although some are quite steep. There is still plenty of colour in the garden during the autumn as there are many acer...More

Yes we saw plenty of red squirrels. Some at the feeding stations others scampering around. The garden is a wild woodland garden, maybe not at its best at the moment, but there were some amazing redwood trees. The owners were friendly and informative and we...More

Although we didn't think much of the gardens, we were absolutely delighted to see so many red squirrels. They were running around the bird feeding tables & helping themselves to the mixed nuts. We got some lovely videos of them lifting up the lids to...More

Beautiful gardens in Aberfeldy with an abundance of red squirrels. Unusual trees and plants including a huge redwood. Numbered route to follow, natural as possible therefore uneven but with some stunning views. £5 entry fee, sometimes staff there but other a ‘trust’ box. Laminated guides...More

Just visited this wonderful wooded enchanted garden. It's very relaxed and informal with red squirrels abundant. Not for the less able however due to terrain. Only £5 entry on a trust system. Lovely little gem of a garden unspoilt by hoards of people or coach...More

Whole experience ruined by a very watchful lady who greeted us apparently it costs £3000 a year to feed the Squirrels and birds but the lady doesn’t give you a chance to be honest. We felt very uncomfortable and left sure gardens are lovely lady....More

I think they are if I remember rightly. I'm sure it said something on the board at entrance that dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead. I may be wrong though I'm afraid. you may be able to find out online where.
