Visited with family in January when it's not as crowded but still found the place very interesting and beautiful. Had a chance to talk to the nice gentleman responsible for the gardens and found the conversation very informative.
Recommended for couples and family visits.
Spectacular walk around a beautiful wooded garden.
Lots of information about the various flora and was lovely to see so many red squirrels.
Would love to come back in the spring and summer, must be incredible.

Only £5 entry on a trust system.

Whole experience ruined by a very watchful lady who greeted us apparently it costs £3000 a year to feed the Squirrels and birds but the lady doesn’t give you a chance to be honest. We felt very uncomfortable and left sure gardens are lovely lady....More
I think they are if I remember rightly. I'm sure it said something on the board at entrance that dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead. I may be wrong though I'm afraid. you may be able to find out online where.
