Lovely bookshop café with a great choice of books and cake and excellent real tea and coffee in a very relaxing atmosphere. There is a small garden to the back where we had ours with lovely views. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed browsing through the delightful books in this independent bookstore. Cafe busy and savoured a delicious lunch, pesto chicken on rustic bread, side salad and a latte. Recommend everyone to visit.

I liked that there was even a children's room but the layout of the place is a little confusing if you have young children with you and not much time to focus. Unique place though and if you have time then well worth spending some...More

We like the independent bookshop and it has interesting exhibitions. The cafe however is not so good. If all you want is a tea/coffee and cake then it is alright. The tea is leaf and tastes good. The food for lunches is limited and the...More

Hi Graham Thanks for flagging this up (it is something that annoys me too) - I will bring it to the attention of the cafe team. Regards Kevin

The Watermill is in a 200 year-old A-listed building and it wasn't possible to install a lift to the top floor art gallery, although we do have level access to the bookshop and cafe (on separate floors). I will change our... More
