Well, what a find; a fantastic bookshop with a slightly eccentric (in a good way) choice of books, more than plenty to titles interest any reader, plenty of different genres, my main problem was limiting myself as I could easily have bought 100+ books. Plenty...More

Wonderful combination of a book shop upstairs and a cafe downstairs. Good lunch menu and selection of cakes. The cappuccino was enormous. Friendly service. No wifi.

Stopped for a light lunch after browsing the bookshop - the service was very friendly and the soup was Delicious, as was the pistachio & cinnamon cake we had afterwards.

Had a lovely cup outside. It didn’t take long to get served and the coffee was great. Would definitely recommend.

Been stopping into Watermill every year for as long as I remember. Love browsing the great mixed selection of books. Usually finished off with a wee coffee and carrot cake. Every village needs a Watwermill.

Wow. Great selection of books and the staff here were excellent too. I could have spent hours looking at the full range and well priced too.

Good book shop but really like the outdoor eating area. It was a lovely sunny day & it had a good vibe. Food was nice especially the Gin & Tonic cake. Average price too.

Hi Graham Thanks for flagging this up (it is something that annoys me too) - I will bring it to the attention of the cafe team. Regards Kevin

The Watermill is in a 200 year-old A-listed building and it wasn't possible to install a lift to the top floor art gallery, although we do have level access to the bookshop and cafe (on separate floors). I will change our... More
