Very interesting tapestry (embroidery really) which is totally different to the one in Jersey as this shows 1000 years of their history, not just the occupation period. Plenty of info available about the making of it, as well as the story of each tableau. A...More

10 tapestries made individually by the 10 parishes of Guernsey give an excellent individual insight into the complete history of Guernsey. No matter if your interested in tapestries or not you must see this, and enjoy, this exhibition when visiting Guernsey. Large shop.

Guernsey's history in one room! A bit pricey at £5 but as a contribution to the preservation of these beautiful tapestries (there are 10 separate panels) it's worth it.

Friendly staff, well stocked little shop, a coffee shop and the tapestries! The skill in producing the tapestries echoes the pride that the locals have in their heritage and their island.
