Worth a visit if you like dark, long wet tunnels : apart from its historical significance, i.e. built by the Germans during the occupation but never really used, it has little of interest.

Just the atmosphere (in the old German Occupation tunnels) was enough to remind us what the people of Guernsey went through. Many, many displays of military regalia and artefacts, notices from the Occupation.

Be aware that this place is cash only and does not accept any other form of payment. Overall this was a real disappointment and not worth the £7 per adult to get in. It had loads of memorabilia but there was no real order to...More

Excellent and very interesting although a knowledge of German and French would help. Museum covers both WW1 and WW2 occupation and other island conflicts.

The Underground museum has more WWII stuff than I could have imagined. Medals, uniforms, helmets, knives, communication documents, and on and on. All in this 'small' museum built into the bunker used by the Germans. I would strongly encourage anyone interested in this topic to...More

Extremely interesting as the Channel Islands were the only part of the British Isles to be occupied by the Germans during WWII. My father and Grandmother were evacuated to the mainland but my Grandfather stayed, so even though I’ve heard many stories and visited this...More
