We went there on the advice from Tourist information in St Peter Port, it was badly organised with really small printed information sheets,

Hidden away, the La Vallette Underground Military Museum is a very interesting place to visit rain or shine. Reading the many notices that were issued to the people still on Guernsey when they were invaded, is a real eye opener. It is hard to imagine...More

If it's raining, take a look, to understand the effort that the Nazi Organisation would go to, to defend a small English speaking island, and the lives of the slave workers that were sacrificed to achieve their goals. No lavatories!!!

As an American, had no idea that any part of British soil was occupied by Germans in WWII. So if you are curious about history this is an excellent place to visit. Give yourself about 1.5 - at minimum - hours to absorb the exhibits....More

Made you realise what the war years were like and how fortunate later generations have been, we should not forget.

Not the best of the museums about the occupation. The fact it's underground is not crucial to its story, which is a shame. uite old-fashioned, with some really bad waxwork figures

Lots of memorabilia from WW1 during German occupation. Bought a signed book of childhood reminiscences from a delightful lady called Molly. Worth at least an hours visit.

Prior to our arrival I really didn’t know what to expect from this museum. I had visited the tunnels that the British forces had created at Gibraltar but didn’t think that they would be that extensive. I was very much surprised when I discovered that...More
