We had a free tour from a lovely and knowledgeable gentleman. Interesting place. There are museums inside but actually I was a bit ''museumed out'' from Guernsey so did not go in any of them. Used the cafe, not much choice and the lady in...More

A fab castle. You can see the layers of history. Get there for the midday gun salute and have your photo taken with the gunners. You may get to experience a small play/living history. Which was fun and informative. Friendly staff happy to chat and...More

The children really enjoyed Castle Cornet - there was lots to see and was reasonably priced. We bought a discovery pass which included entrance into other venues and worked out good value for money.

I am generally visiting places on my own and don't tend to consider the appeal for families, but this place has a great range of displays that will appeal to and interest all ages. The historical section is a great way to place the history...More

This is a great castle to visit dating back 1000 years. Fascinating Living History tours tell the story of the castle, which houses several museums including one devoted to the Guernsey Infantry. There are bunkers from WW2 and secret rooms that were in use up...More

Yes you do have to pay, but it's quite a nice walk down and there are lovely views back towards the town and out to sea.
