An enormous old fortress, with incredible views and history. Definitely worth a visit. Cannon firing re-enactment on Remembrance Day was incredible.

Guernsey Museums have put together a remarkable display of Guernsey through the ages with excellent tableaux and artefacts. Well worth a visit if you have an interest in memories from the world wars etc.

Spectacular setting and worth a visit. It provides an opportunity to review very aspects of Guernsey history and the people of the island. Cafe makes a good soup.

Yes you do have to pay, but it's quite a nice walk down and there are lovely views back towards the town and out to sea.
