This was by far one of the coolest walks I did on my holiday. Walking to the fort in low tide was easy and not very strenuous. Then, when we got to the fort, we saw amazing views from behind it! The seabed was shallow...More

If the weather's half decent his is a nice way to waste an hour or so. There's nothing much at the fort itself but the views are good.

As a child my family used to walk the slippery causeway out to the Fort laden with buckets and spades, picnic fare and sausages to cook on a fire. We would race around the ruins, collect shells from the shore and then as the tide...More

Can only walk out at low tide. Went one afternoon as had never been before, but generally disappointed as nothing really to see. An area closed off from public (local youth group I think), just the harbour walls to walk along.

If you’re in the St Aubin area and get the timing right with the tide, then this is well worth a visit. You get some great views and a sense of being further out to sea than you are. Plus, it’s for free.....

Walk down the right hand side (as you leave the main road) of St Aubin's harbour past the restaurants to get access to the causeway at low tide. This interesting fort combined with Elizabeth Castle batteries of guns to set up a crossfire to defend...More

When visiting the fort, make sure you time it right to allow yourself enough time to get there, look around and get back before the tide comes back in - you could end up with very wet feet (talking from experience)

Had a brilliant few hours here. Rather exciting and even better FREE! Thank you Jersey! Keep the youngsters away from the edge and watch them carefully, there are a good few falling ledges.

Walk over to the Fort when the tide is out but do keep an eye on the tide. Lovely views from the fort and it's a great walk over.
