We visited the park and the security guard suggested we check out the museum. He directed us how to get there. We weren't expecting much but many paintings by local artists and some unusual types caught our eye. Actually I think the layout is pretty...More

This modern museum does a nice job of presenting different spheres - the modern selection was very interesting as was the local/Eastern Tennessee artists.

A very pleasant museum experience. Free admission, interesting exhibits and a well- stocked gift shop. Many pieces promote thoughtfulness and consideration of a different perspective from your own.

We stopped at Knoxville only for a rest between cities, and since the museum was near the hotel we stopped in on the way out of town. Wow! what great exhibits! We wound up spending a couple of hours. And it's free. Congrats, Knoxville.

This isn't a large museum, but the contents were extremely well curated and well worth seeing. We were particularly struck by the collection of contemporary prints.

This was a great way to spend part of the day. We were welcomed right as we came in the door and were given a quick rundown of how the museum is laid out. Some of the pieces were "interesting". There is a room dedicated...More

The kids love going here to walk around and learn new things. The children’s area here is fun and very educational. Love going every chance we get.
