World's Fair Park is nestled in downtown Knoxville and close to a few neat shops. Otherwise, the park itself doesn't offer much excitement, it's a nice place to walk and the Sphere is nice to see. Maybe it's more interesting when events are held there.

You've got a giant sculpture (Sunsphere), flags from many countries, a monument to WWI and WWII veterans, and plenty of benches to sit on. What more could you want in an urban park? Plus, it's close to the Museum of Art and has free parking.

Went to the bassmaster classic event, which drew 150,000+ people over a three day period. Everything was well organized, with lots of parking close to the expo center. Area was clean, and there were several benches to sit upon, if one needed to rest. Also...More

We were in town with the Bass Master Classic. So we took advantage of the location and toured around. The park is easily accessed. The fountain is pretty. We toured the sphere. I was here @ the worlds fair in 1984. Just as cool now...More

We were here on a cold, rainy day in March so we didn't want to stick around for long. I am sure it is nice in a different season.

We mainly walk through World's Fair Park on our way to attend UT football games. In addition to a variety of events scheduled at the park, it brings back good memories of the 1982 World's Fair.

Take a break from the hustle of the streets. Sit by the water and let the sounds of rushing water cascading over rocks transport you to a peaceful place. Recharge your personal batteries and tackle the rest of your day.

Yes, dogs are welcomed at the park. They may need to be on a leash if they like to run around a lot, but, if they stick with you, it should be okay to go without a leash.
