The performance by Mr. Cook was so wonderful! He told funny stories and was superb with his actions. He is deaf, but it does not affect his storytelling at all! Loved him! My first visit wants me to go again! Highly recommend!

The story telling center is a newer building that presents storytellers year round. There are special events held in the courtyard regularly. Very nice building with modern conveniences.

Great place to visit and go for storytelling. Everyone in town and on staff was very helpful and friendly. Lots to see and do when the festival is going on. Just get there early if you want to park in town.

Another excellent week listening to Reverend Donald Davis share stories from his early life in the Appalachian mountains in North Carolina. The staff at the storytelling Center made all of the visitors so welcome and were so accommodating for those that are disabled.
