The trail is cute and trendy right now, I personally prefer a "trail" to be more than an endless straight path. Be aware while walking though! Creepers are everywhere!

Beautiful walking and biking trail. Fairly easy and level trail covered with fine gravel. Always feel safe there. Lots of fellow walkers at all times. Good place to take kids to run off a little steam.

The trail may be scenic on the Johnson City side but not so in Elizabethton. All of the way through town you walk beside industrial/manufacturing plants and their storage yards. It is nice and flat for riding a bicycle but that is all it has...More

The trail is nice and well maintained. Be aware of your surroundings. There has been an attempted child abduction and also some weirdo has been stringing fishing line across the trail to cause you to fall or wreck your bike. Some of the line actually...More

This is a beautiful relaxing trail that starts in Johnson City and goes through a portion of Elizabethton. People of all ages and various levels of athletic ability are able to enjoy the Tweetsie Trail.

Well done bike trail from Johnson City to Elizabethton which is about 10 miles. Easier to start in Elizabethon as there are lots of hills and grades to JC.

Very great experience and beautiful scenery!! Great fresh air for the adults and the children. This is where I will go for family fun and outings. Not too crowded and very peaceful.

The trail is great and it was a great idea to make it multi use. The trail excludes horses (multi use??) but includes bicycles. Bicycles are creating a problem on this trail unless they learn some trail etiquette. Each time I have been on the...More

We love the Tweetsie, we come pretty often and the trail is always well maintained. We like to start in Elizabethton and the cruise back from Johnson city. It’s much closer than the Creeper for us, yet very similar in the forested areas. We love...More

We enjoyed our walk but would have felt safer had we seen a police officer patrolling the trail. The addition of city supervised bathrooms outside the new bike rental place is a great idea!

Not that I know of. There is a BBQ restaurant near Elizabethton which may suffice.

I am assuming you are talking about Arizona State Route 327. I do not know - you have posted this on a site about The Tweetsie Trail in East Tennessee
