We were travelling to Nashville, TN for our 2018 family vacation (July 2018). I knew we were tracing Johnny Cash's home and important things and places with Johnny Cash which brought us to Hendersonville. Since I knew we'd be in Hendersonville for the day, I...More

Rock Castle is a great place to visit! The tour lasted almost 2 hours but it was full of terrific information and a lot of humor. Our tour guide, Sam, was awesome! He was very personable and hilarious. Admission is a good price and all...More

There are some great events hosted here which makes the visit more fun. Without events going on the time it takes you to visit is pretty short. Thank

This house is more Federal in appearance and so is its main history which sets it apart from some of the others around greater Nashville. The connection between the early Settlers, the Donelsons, the Smiths, the Jacksons, is told here. Some more human details about...More

The young lady that led us through the Rock Castle as sooo informative. She gave us personal stories of the family, the surrounding area and the era. How much better can it get?!

Our guide for the tour, Sam, was wonderful. His enthusiasm for the history of the area and his "added" touches (not part of a script) were so appreciated. We learned so much on this tour about this area. Highly recommend a visit to this location.
