If you love hiking, biking, or camping, this beautiful place is not far from a campground. Not into any of those things- that’s okay too! Just simply park your vehicle and enjoy a swim or peaceful afternoon in this serene place.

On the way to North Carolina and stopped here for a while. Enjoyed the museum, watching the rafters, hiking the trails, and the scenery. Hope to return in the near future.

This is a great stop when the Ocoee River is flowing. There are times when the river is not flowing but when the TVA releases the dam, it's a playground for rafters and kayakers. It's very busy when the rafting companies are in the area...More

The trip through TN and GA was and an amazing trip with an unexpected stop by the Ocee Whitewater Center where they held the Olympic Whitewater events. I would suggest the drive through here for anyone.

Came here from N. GA to experience a bit of '96 Olympic History...sorely disappointed. The Occoee center here is closed November - April ...you can park and look at a super low river but otherwise not worth the trip this time of year. The website...More

Lots of options of trails and levels of difficulty without the rough gravel access roads so many of the trails have. Large paved parking lot ($3 honor system) with a gift shop, maps and brochures inside building. Site of a former Olympic competition. Good for...More
