We did enjoy seeing the dinosaurs as it brought the child out in us. It is a shame that the exhibits could all use a little bit of a paint touch up, but otherwise it was a fun place. The views were spectacular from up...More

You can see the largest dinosaur from just about anywhere in town, standing way up on on the hill. All week we said we were going up there, and we finally did. Beautiful views of the city, especially at night. There are seven dinosaurs, and...More

We stumbled upon this place and we're glad we did. Beautiful views of the city from the hilltop. The park was built in 1936 and is a historic park. The kids enjoyed the giant dinosaurs.

Yes it's just cement dinosaurs built a long time ago, but my God my children loved it. The view from up there is pretty cool as well and so it's free. The little gift shop in the parking lot is fantastic. Actually the best find...More

The kids loved this. It is small, with only a few dinosaurs, but it is free. It is worth the drive up to see it if you are in Rapid City.

Visited because it sounded fun. Lots of stairs so a stroller or wheelchair wouldn’t work here. Great city views from the top. Kids would like it but be careful with all of the ledges and stairs.

The dinosaurs are a little dated and weathered, but we still enjoyed them. The views are wonderful. There's a little gift shop that has a nice selection of items and a small grill with some very inexpensive hot dogs, which people really seemed to be...More

I agree with the others. I would also add there is a fun geocache up there if you are into geocaching!

Yes, but be aware that if your pooch has any cranky joints, all those steps are going to be hard on her.

That steep winding road everyone is mentioning also really doesn't have a shoulder. I have walked it before, but you need to be careful. The steep turns mean cars can't always see you coming.
