The kids loved this. It is small, with only a few dinosaurs, but it is free. It is worth the drive up to see it if you are in Rapid City.

Visited because it sounded fun. Lots of stairs so a stroller or wheelchair wouldn’t work here. Great city views from the top. Kids would like it but be careful with all of the ledges and stairs.

Fun to see the dinosaurs and good place for photos. There are lots of steps but great view on every level.

Second visit was more fun this time as our granddaughter was with us. To bad there isn’t easier access as my wife’s father would have liked to see but too many steep steps to go up.

Educational experience for all ages but the kids will love the life size and hands on displays. Little bit of walking to get around but worth the free visit. Great scenic views as well.

Dinosaurs can be enjoyed by all at Dinosaur Park. Plus there is a great 360 degree view of the entire Rapid City area!

The trip up the long flight of stairs is worth it just for the view. The kids loved looking at the dinosaurs, and we even saw a fox and some deer. The gift shop has some unique items and decent prices.

I agree with the others. I would also add there is a fun geocache up there if you are into geocaching!

Yes, but be aware that if your pooch has any cranky joints, all those steps are going to be hard on her.

That steep winding road everyone is mentioning also really doesn't have a shoulder. I have walked it before, but you need to be careful. The steep turns mean cars can't always see you coming.
