These are epic carvings of famous Presidents ( George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. It is totally worth it, make sure even in summer you have a coat or jumper.

Truely inspirational. One of the most awe inspiring sights ever. I was there back in 1976 (yes, I’m old), and since then, they have greatly improved the grounds and added a museum. It’s a must see for anyone traveling the mid west.

I am there with you when it comes to the first time I saw Mt. Rushmore or Crazy Horse (that has changed a lot since the early 70's). The Black Hills of South Dakota are truly beautiful. Thank you!!
