We went to hit golf balls into the pit but not when we saw there was a fee to do it. This would be interesting to a someone interested in in depth science research. A guided tour would also be helpfulMore

Free! New building and nice history of the mining in Lead. Learned some points I did not know regarding the mining and town. I have visited Lead many times over the years and still learned new things. Worth your time to stop! Very friendly worker!!
