We spent an hour here while it was raining outside. Very well worth a visit. Information on the growth of the town especially during the gold rush period. Information about wild Bill & Calamity Jane.

This museum was very interesting. It had a lot of historical items in it that was unique to the area of deadwood. It is a must see.

Wonderful museum, fantastic original architecture, items, and pictures. The story behind the home is incredible. Great for couples and families. Tour lasts about 45 mins and is usually available every hour.

So much to see! The actual courthouse used from 1876, the jail, the history and artifacts are fantastic. Free admission, knowledgable staff make the visit enjoyable. You could explore for an hour or for a day. What a lively town it was (and is). Must...More
