On our way to another plantation, we saw this one from the road and noticed it was open. We stopped and joined the tour. The tour guide was extremely enthusiastic about the subject, although he liked talking about the Civil War re-enactments that happen here...More

It is a plantation house but was closed. Make sure to make an appointment for tours. Plenty of outdoor houses too.

This is a very interesting family outing. We have lived in cross keys for 33 years and enjoyed the house very much. If you love history, come for a learning visit.
