Sullivans Island Beach provides any beach bum with a picturesque setting that allows for great time in water or on the beach. Only minutes away from Charleston, their unlimited dining opportunities there as well.
The beach was a short drive away from downtown Charleston. We really enjoyed this place! The water was warm, the beach was fairly quiet and we found free parking easily. I definitely recommend this beach!

Yes, there is free parking on some of the side streets, but you will have to walk to the beach, but it is not too far. The parking areas are marked. Be careful not to block private driveways. It was not crowded when we were... More
Yes, there is free parking on some of the side streets, but you will have to walk to the beach, but it is not too far. The parking areas are marked. Be careful not to block private driveways. It was not crowded when we were there, but it was off season. It could be really crowded during tourist season.
