We spent a week on Kiawah during a family vacation with 8 adults and 8 children. Kiawah was our third choice, after Hilton Head and Fripp Island. Although we enjoyed the week, we found it overpriced for simply average events, food and entertainment.
I give this an all thumbs up, great places to visit and eat. We visited during winter and it was still pleasant and the people are very friendly. The market shops are awesome . We rented a boat and got to watch the dolphins.
We have visited several times with our entire family and enjoy each time! There are many activities to do for every member of the family, great restaurants, friendly people and plus it is just a gorgeous area. Highly recommend!
We loved the sunsets here. Lots of cute little places- definitely a destination. Looks like a regular crowd for many years, even decades!! Have a drink at Andell Inn around sunset- it's very vacation feeling!!

Not just a golfers dream, but also tennis, nature programs, a wide beach and wonderful dining, just perfect. Bike trails, walking trails,...More
