In theory I love this sliver of underutilized river bank/ underpass being given new life as a childrens garden. The groups of homeless hanging out are a little unnerving and the unguarded bank makes me a bit uncomfortable with my little ones. I don't hate...More

Excellent layout, selection of ornamentals, edibles and exotics. Proximity to the Swamp Rabbit Trail and downtown is great. Good educational elements, too.

Yes, this is for kids, and if you have some you should bring them soon and often. But even old people like me can enjoy seeing cotton plants, imaginative structures and good representational sculpture. If you're old, borrow someone else's kids and take them here....More

If your expecting a park this isn't it. The description of "garden" is apt because there isn't many activities that do not involve plants. There is a stone garden, a fake chicken coop and edible plants such as strawberries and basil to observe. Most of...More

Great place to walk and explore .Children enjoyed finding pictures of favorite storybook characters throughout the garden. Also able to learn to identify different plants. Benches, shaded area to sit and watch your children play on a sunny day.

The picture on the website was not accurate, though some ladies were there planting some flowers. The little park has plenty of potential but needs lots of tender loving care.

I've taken my granddaughters to the Children's Garden at Linky Stone Park several times, most recently this summer. Due to the nearby construction, we had to find parking in a ramp a few blocks away. The summer display of flowers is much better than fall...More

At the moment, there is a lot of construction going on around here. Linky Stone park is still accessible, but some of the benches have been moved around and there are some cordoned off areas right next to it. Wouldn't bring kids here at this...More

This children's garden was delightful. The plants were planned by letters of the alphabet and the statues were child size and friendly. Worth the short walk! Would definitely take my grandchildren there.
