The park is friendly to visitors during the day or evening. I suggest visiting during both times because of the beautiful views and changes in color.

This was our first time in downtown Greenville and it was everything we had heard. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and the walk around the grounds was relaxing and spacious. When someone says, "A river runs through it" they are not kidding. Very nice.

I had heard the bridge was opening after Labor Day, but it is not opening until mid/late September. Still the park was really a great place to visit. What a nice thing to have in the downtown area.

The best place to enjoy the nature in the middle of city. Walk, breathing, take images. Shoot photos, usually is a place not full of people. Marvellous of nature and history. Natives were here before us. The best of senses

Just lovely! Ive lived here all my life and over the years they have revamped downtown and it is amazing. It is even more beautiful in the evening.

Nice walk. Some interesting art galleries near by. Street musicians and other performers from time to time.

Beautiful downtown park! Loved seeing the flowers in bloom at Mary’s Cottage, listening to music by the river and feeling very safe while doing so!

Great place to hang out and visit. Good parking and close to everything via walking. Try all the restaurants on Main, there are 130!

Visited this park for the first time and really enjoyed it! We did make a mistake wearing sandals, so next time will wear sneakers so we can really walk through some of the rocky area. The falls are beautiful and great scenery for pics. There...More

Falls park is beautiful and an absolute fun place to hang out or stroll around after visiting the downtown area. It is kid and pet friendly. The river is beautiful and there are many vantage points to view it from.

I'm unsure on the exact mileage. Google the distance. Enjoy the scenery.

Hampton Inn is the closest, but Marriott Courtyard and Westin are not much further. Aloft is next. The Hyatt is also downtown and very walkable.
