After you've seen Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, this is a total disappointment. It can't even compare. It's small, with a very limited number of animals and species. Greenville deserves a better zoo.

I love our little zoo in Greenville! It is growing! I'm glad the zoo is working to add new exhibits. The zoo always has creative events going on for children AND adults!

There isn't much here anymore, but its a great time with the kids. Great exercise as well. Just not worth nearly 10 dollars a person.

I am a zoo connoisseur, and I can honestly say that this is not a great zoo. It's small, but my town has a small zoo, too, so it's not just that. The habitats for the animals are mostly old fashioned, the selection of animals...More

Based on reviews we were excited to go to the Greenville Zoo. Granted it was a weekday in January and a little bit cool, but the zoo was a disappointment. Several displays were empty and others seemed unkept and dirty. The lions and giraffes were...More

I love visiting this zoo. It’s educational. It’s great for families with small children. They have a lot of programs to be involved with. We are very fortunate as a community to have the zoo.

The Greenville Zoo is a small zoo but with a good variety of animals. It is an accredited zoo by the AZA which means it meets some rigorous standards. The good part about this zoo is you can see animals up close because the exhibits...More

Its not the biggest or best ZOO, But its ours and I'm proud of it. I love to take kids here and watch their expressions.

Took us about 2 hours to go through. Nice area for the animals, a pleasant hilly path for people. Some paths kind of steep so it could be tricky for a wheelchair-bound individual, but folks with strollers managed quite fine. Theres a super fun free...More

The Greenville Zoo, located just outside of Downtown Greenville, is a small, but big enough for a lot a fun. They have a large variety of animals. It’s clean, but, don’t totally enforce smoking, which I totally disagree with, being I’ve seen people smoking around...More
