A walking trail in the middle of town, awesome. One can walk a little or a long way. We fell in love with Greenville. Not only the trail but the whole city was beautiful landscaped and clean. DOG FRIENDLY too.

I lived in Greenville for 10 years. It's changed a lot. One of the great changes has been the creation of the SRT. You can use it to access everything from TR to the zoo. It's easy to rent a bike, or grab a B-cycle...More

We've been to the SRT several times. Park at the Swamp Rabbit Cafe, Downtown or Travelers Rest, there's plenty of options. The trail is clean, road crossings well marked, Restaurants along the way for food and fun. Family friendly, too.

If you walk down to the trail from the Swamp Rabbit Inn and bike to Traveler's Rest, it's a nice, level ride.

Stay at any hotel downtown or just outside of downtown. There is always plenty of parking in the downtown area.
