Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

potter Jane Bess is a very good potter artist and the studio/shop is quite nice, interesting and full of different items. The two ladies working there, including Jane are very friendly and a delight to talk with.

Edgefield has a long history of producing handmade pottery, and Jane Bess continues that tradition with her beautiful work that is also useful. You can come into the studio and see her working at the wheel. She is also kid friendly -- she allowed my children to make small somethings that she then fired and glazed for them.

The studio and shop is not large, so a long visit is not required. But we have enjoyed out visits here. NB: She does have a cat, so be aware of that if you have allergies (as I do).
