We visited with our sister who lived in the region. Unfortunately it was a warm hazy day in early fall, so the views though nice were not as stunning as they could be. There were some interesting historical displays adjacent to the gift shop. The...More

We've been numerous times to Caesars Head State Park. There is a very nice park office and gift shop there also. Parking, for us, was never a problem. The best views are from the overlook not far from the Visitor Center which showcases Table Rock...More

My husband is from South Carolina and could not wait to show me this place. The views were spectacular! It is a quick stop with great hiking. The road up to the park is fun and beautiful

Running late due to a long drive, but got here just in time to visit the Visitors' Center. Small, well appointed, staff helpful and friendly. View was spectacular. Suggest a much longer visit to enjoy the trails.

The overlook provides a spectacular view of the valley and mountains and is easily accessible. The Devil's Kitchen trail off the overlook provides a few more vista views. The young woman at the desk was of no help in learning about the trails. We've done...More

Caesars Head has a lot of great hikes. I just did the Raven Cliff Falls + Dismal Trail Loop. It's about 8 miles with 2100 feet of elevation gain. It's not a hike for young children or people with limited mobility. I definitely recommend doing...More

Make sure your not scared of heights when you go out on the rock. They also have trails you can hike. Also has a place you can go in a read about the history, also has a little store.

Cost is nothing. Views are priceless especially on a low humidity day as we had. Unheard of for July. Been here quite a few times. If your passing through you must stop. The visitors center has a very cool interactive 3d map.

Beautiful day so my husband and I drove up to Caesars Head State Park. You have to take windy roads to get up to the park so that made me a bit nervous. Once you get there, there are several parking spaces. We had no...More

There is limited space atop Caesar's Head. If no one has the same idea as you it will be fine. Otherwise it will be very crowded. If you like to hike, a 3.5 mile trek to the top of nearby Table Rock would be better for... More

I know Brevard is 15 miles down the road. Might not be the closest, but I thought it was easiest.

I believe it is about 2.2 miles each way. It is beautiful!! Please check with rangers though since the fires are still bad.
