We visited St. Philip's Church and its graveyard on our walking tour that we took through the Historic Charleston Foundation. The Sanctuary was closed but we discussed the church history from the outside as well as spending some time in the cemetery. St. Philip's was...More

This church was right down the street from our hotel. We passed it often and the attendants were always smiling and welcoming to everyone passing by. We walked inside to find it more beautiful on the inside than on the outside.

Amazing church. The graveyards that surround the church grounds have many famous people. Take a moment to explore the inside and see the beautiful architecture.

My family and I visited St. Philip’s Church to admire its beauty and architecture while visiting Charleston. This is a gorgeous church and its cemetery reminded me of those I’ve seen in New Orleans. It is free to tour on your own and worth taking...More

Every tour stops here and you can get your photos of the church. We walked here our 1st day on our tour. Really fascinating. This is how history should be taught in high school. Worth the stop!

This is an impressive structure and the cemetery across the street is a peaceful and beautiful place to visit with many very old headstones. Worth a visit.
