St. Matthews Lutheran Church is beautiful church located in the heart of King Street across from Marion Square Park. St. Mathews lays claim to being the tallest church in South Carolina at 255 feet. Jolly Chriss.

This church is quite tall. And looks somewhat European. It's a little bit away from the other attractions but I walked over to look at it. I love churches. It's nice. And tall and worth 5-20 minutes to look at.

This church has just been redone. The carpets removed and the organ plays even better! The trumpets are fantastic! This is a must see church.
