Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The all photography tour was wonderful. Kristin was our guide and took us to some well selected places for the photographs. Kristin also spent significant amounts of time with us individually helping us learn how to shoot different types of photographs. We could not be happier with Kristin and the tour we chose.

Tiffany is a great teacher. I am trying to become an amateur photographer. We spent half a day together covering fundamentals. Excellent.

Tiffany was a great and patient instructor and guide. Sunrise at the Boneyard beach was gorgeous, and we loved the spots she took us to in the woods. Have done many photo tours in other cities and this was one of the best. Highly recommend Charleston Photography Tours.

Peyton was terrific and going to Bone Yard was the best. We went at Sunset and opted to stay on the beach instead of moving back to the boardwalk. The soft colors that blanketed the beach silohoutting the trees was magnificent. I highly recommend this Bone Yard trip to everyone. Peyton was also great at providing ideas for other great photo spots and was very helpful with suggestions for composition and settings. Worth every penny!

This was my first trip to Charleston and I was looking for something a little different. I am not a great photographer, but I like to take pretty pictures of my travels…using my camera’s automatic setting. Well, I am happy to report that I have not switched my camera back to automatic after my outing to Boneyard Beach with Tiffany. She provided some great tips that were easy for me to understand. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if I ended up taking one of her travel workshops somewhere. She was also very responsive to questions prior to the trip. If you are interested in photography, I highly recommend spending part of your trip with Tiffany.

What a priceless experience! A gem of an adventure. Did the sunrise at Botany Bay, Edisto Island. Even though I didn't get the hoped for sunrise colors Tiffany helped me create some beautiful foggy moody fine art keepers both at the beach and surrounding oak and moss tree lined paths. Then I shot with her another eve for the Charleston downtown. Tiffany knew the best location for perspective on the iconic bridge shot and several other beautiful spots which I would likely have not discovered on my own. Tiffany is a helpful and knowledgeable instructor as well as a lovely person. Well worth the time and money investment. I'm going home with increased understanding of capturing some beautiful landscapes, morn/evening/fog and can't wait to go through all my treasures!

Tiffany made my trip to Charleston something to truly remember. She was knowledgable and patient with the group and helped us get some great tale ways shots of the Edisto Boneyard Beach. Looking forward to coming back for additional shooting with Tiffany...

My wife and I went out with Charleston Photography Tours for two Sunrise trips and two Sunset trips in the span of three days. Tiffany found new and exciting places for us to photograph each time. It's great to experience some of the places that only the "locals" seem to know about. . .and the best time to be there as well. This was our second time to do the Charleston tour and we will certainly do it again.

Did a sunrise shoot at Botany Bay on Edisto Island with Tiffany, my third outing with her and Keith. Love their approach. They've done the scouting and know where to take you. And they each possess a rare combination of technical skill and warm, encouraging personalities. The boneyard beach on Edisto as the sun came up was just magical, even on a day without clouds to color the horizon. Cool oak alleys too, as well as marshes to photograph. Really love shooting with these guys. I've done photo workshops and tours with many different vendors and these guys are among the best. I'd tell you more but I got to go to their website and book another outing.

What an amazing experience.
A real treat to see this spectacular landscape and get some out-of-this-world photos. Boneyard Beach looks liked a place Yoda might call home.
I enjoyed my time with my guide, Peyton; she was very knowledgeable and personable and I was able to learn about long exposure photography.
