The Unitarian Church in Charleston is easily accessible and well worth even a short visit. The cemetery is especially interesting. Don't miss this church during your visit of the many Charleston historical locations.
Amazing edifice. The Sankofa memorial in the churchyard is a must see on your Charleston visit. The congregation saved about 100 handmade bricks from the 1774 tower and built a memorial to the unknown enslaved workers who made them. Unique. Significant. Touching.
