Provides visitors with a nice view of the water and Pineapple Fountain. If you are patient enough, wait for one of the swings and enjoy the Southern charm. If not, just take a stroll and enjoy the breeze.

Great way to see part of Charleston, immense fountains, river to ocean, tree lined park, historic homes and see kids having fun and adults mesmerized by all the eye can see.

I took my 10year old daughter to play in the fountain she had a blast. Got to watch street performers they were fantastic. Great way to cool off.

We enjoyed the harbor views and pineapple fountain. We waited for a swing to open up and enjoyed the passing storm clouds under the canopy.

This is a nice area to just hang out and fight the heat (somewhat). There are some great picture spots as well. They need more swings on the pier, definitely not enough for everyone who wanted one.

The waterfront is not far from Rainbow Row! It is small, but well-taken care of! An island of trees and grass with boats on both sides, and a beautiful "boathouse," too! There are benches to sit and a sidewalk to walk along the waterfront. It...More

My sister and I enjoyed walking around, people watching, and taking pictures of the iconic pineapple fountain. It was a good way to unwind from our day’s activities and it offers a very good view of the marina. :)

Beautful walk along the water. Children playing in the fountains, couples swinging together on the peir. People strolling down the beautiful shaded pathways. Just take a minute to relax and soak in the sunshine and fresh air.

Lovely place for a stroll, with great views out over the water. The two fountains are nicely set out, and it was fun to see lots of young kids playing happily in the bigger fountain at the north end. There are plenty of benches and...More

Old Exchange Bldg. is on Broad St and East Bay. About a 4 block, 10 minute walk to the park.

It is a City of Charleston park, so there are definite restrictions. I'd call the city and ask. Parking can be a problem, and there are always LOTS of tourists, so any sort of privacy will be difficult. Not so sure if you... More
