My wife and I love to go down and just sit and relax and watch the boats, birds and other people. If the swings are vacant, it is great to just sit back, swing and enjoy the view. Great experience.

We took pics near the swings, on the pier and near the Pineapple. Famous picture spot. Really pretty though certain times of day can smell like dead fish to be honest. I don't know if that is tied to tides or not. Lovely walk through...More

This is a great place to enjoy the sea breeze while rocking in one of the five swings in the park. Absolutely beautiful views!

What a lovely and scenic walk. Our two bows had a lot of fun swimming in the Pineapple fountain as well as playing with the water jets in the second fountain. What a great way to cool off. And everyone was so very friendly.

Enjoyed being in the area and the park. Nice covered swing and a great view of the water front. I think there is A water taxi but we did not see it, but you can watch the big ships and boats come and go.

Beautiful park with great views! Love the pineapple fountain and the view of the water! Not too far from downtown but it's a nice place to escape the traffic and take a stroll

We took a walk down this pier while waiting for our restaurant reservation (next door at the Fleet Landing restaurant). There are lots of places to sit -- including a few porch swings that fit about 4 people each, which was really relaxing and fun!...More

The temperature was perfect for a walk on waterfront!! You must take some time to walk down to the waterfront ~ sit , swing and chill! It is a beautiful area of Historic downtown Charleston!

It is a City of Charleston park, so there are definite restrictions. I'd call the city and ask. Parking can be a problem, and there are always LOTS of tourists, so any sort of privacy will be difficult. Not so sure if you... More

There are parking garages nearby. You will be very lucky to find a parking meter close by or have enough change. A quarter gets you 15 minutes. Enforced to 6:00 pm free on weekends.
