This is one of the oldest churches in Charleston and definitely worth a peek. It has gorgeous Tiffany stained glass windows. Check out the graveyard next door. In the 1700s people used the headboards from their beds as headstones and there is one that is...More

A deeply moving service and sermon on the terrible massacre here, but it was then marred by a homophobic official leaflet at the exit that we were told to read, opposing the Supreme Court equality of marriage decision. Deeply hurtful. This is the equivalent of...More

Historical and beautiful church. Lots of fun stuff going on here on a regular basis. They even have a tea room.

Open all day for people to wander in. Stunning stained glass windows. The building dates from the late 1600s. Definitely worth a stop on your walking tour.

Was able to go in around lunch time as they were finishing up a mid day prayer service. Such wonderful history. The cemetery is also a must see.

Gorgeous historic church. Apparently George Washington worshiped here when he visited the city. Very well preserved.

Upon walking into this church I certainly knew that this had been a place of prayer for many years. It has an amazing feeling. This history of the church is very interesting and when built was on the northern most part of Charleston.

Like many of the Charleston places of worship, St. Michael's is very accessible. We enjoyed our very brief visit here including the cemetery. Well worth a visit as you explore the many places in Charleston to learn about the city's history and heritage.
