Nice nature trail. Some parts feel a little unsafe. Love the tidal water views approaching Beaufort. Gets a little sketch once you reach Port Royal.

The path is wide, easily accommodating two lanes. It passes through beautiful wetlands, forested land, and historic sites. Well worth a stroll or bike. Very pleasant experience. Great birding!

A wonderful way to get a good walk in before or after a meal or just anytime suitable for you. The paved area is wonderful. Be sure to take water and sunscreen. No restrooms on the portion that we were on.
