We've enjoyed the trail, part of the East Coast Greenway, multiple times on our visit to the Lowcountry. There are shady stretches which make the trail good even in the midday heat. Families and couples stroll in the evenings. Benches are placed irregularly, but usually...More

Scenic, fun, kid and fitness friendly ride. Went biking during the week with a coupe of friends and virtually had the entire 10.2 mile trail to ourselves. Trail is a smooth easy ride on concrete and only has a few major road crossings. This is...More

Nice nature trail. Some parts feel a little unsafe. Love the tidal water views approaching Beaufort. Gets a little sketch once you reach Port Royal.

The path is wide, easily accommodating two lanes. It passes through beautiful wetlands, forested land, and historic sites. Well worth a stroll or bike. Very pleasant experience. Great birding!

A wonderful way to get a good walk in before or after a meal or just anytime suitable for you. The paved area is wonderful. Be sure to take water and sunscreen. No restrooms on the portion that we were on.
