Visited on our way down to New Jersey from Western New York. My sister lives near Elk Mountain and thought it would be a nice afternoon at the Fall Festival. We arrived around 3 pm and my brother in law and I went into the...More
The slopes are well maintained and lift lines not bad. Worth the extra drive if your coming from the Philly area. Lunch at the lodge restaraunt/bar is always my secret favorite part of the day! But really, the skiing is pretty good too!
When skiing in Pa. Elk Mountain is my first choice due to a number of reasons. It's a bit out of the way from the Bethlehem area but the one plus hour drive is worth it. After skiing Vermont and New Hampshire extensively when we...More
It was a very good snow conditions for the late in the season skiing. I would call most of the "black" runs real good "blues" though. Weather was really good and the skiing was a pleasure. Even it was a St. Patrick day, it wasn't...More

Took friends here for lunch and was extremely embarrassed! Ordered hamburgers & steak sandwiches ... petty simple? They were APSOLUTELY disgusting! Not even remotely prepared like described on the menu. Insult to injury...tables & chairs were filthy dirty.
Highly recommend Wiffy Bog B & B - close to the mountain; Gas station/grocery store/pizza shop two blocks from the B&B; clean, comfortable and affordable rooms which include a full breakfast each morning.
