Randyland is the home of artist, Randy Gilson. Located in the Mexican War Streets district of Pittsburgh's Northside, the Randyland courtyard is open most everyday between 10:00pm and 7:00pm. Visitors are welcome to come and explore the public art displays in and around the property. Using paints, plants, plastic animals, yard sale finds and discarded construction materials, creator Randy Gilson has transformed his home and surrounding buildings into a colorful Pittsburgh landmark. This vibrant set of buildings is a centerpiece that continues to attract both tourists and locals.

My husband recently visited Randyland and was just amazed at all of the color and creativity. Best part about trip was that we actually met Randy. He was just the most positive person I have met in a long time. Truly a gift from heaven....More

Randyland is a riot of colours and creativity at its best. What a fabulous concept with recycled materials. A must see in Pittsburg. Had a wonderful time exploring the artworks made of recyled furniture, toys, household goods...wow what a place !

We found this by accident, in that I got lost while driving in Pittsburgh. But is was a happy accident. Reminds me of The Philadelphia Magic Gardens. It is free and we met “Randy”.

Very interesting place!! Perfect for pictures and plenty of interesting pieces. Even better, it's free. Randy (the creator) was there speaking and it was very eye opening. It was slightly smaller than expected, but if in the area, it's definitely worth a visit!!
