Look for the tall glass building in the core of the downtown. That's the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Building, one of America's finest skyscrapers. All around the building are mini PPG buildings with shops and offices. And in the middle is a lovely square with lots...More

It's a general square adjacent to Market Square. It has some fun events but the very best thing you do is step out of the way of the crowd and look up. It is a fantastic interior view of the architecture.

The architecture of PPG Place is stunning! It is very modern and upscale. There is a beautiful fountain in the middle of this group of buildings that is fun to see both during the day and night. Sadly, the fountain only goes till 10:00 PM.

We got here on a bike tour and were fascinated by the use of glass in surrounding this park. It's a place to look and look again.

Market Square is surrounded by about five gigantic Pittsburgh Glass buildings that soar way into the sky. PPG went out of the glass business a number of years ago associated with glass manufacture and now mainly concentrate on their prime product of Pittsburgh Paint.

The Pittsburgh skyline was surprisingly nice. This building is one of the tallest and the castle part at the top makes it stand out. Very interesting architecture.

Must visit with a historical perspective on this building. Print something out that tells you all the details about this place. Trivia and facts on it and you'll appreciate it much more.
