I think October is the best time. It's a huge Park near University of Pittsburgh and CMU. Good place to sit in sun and enjoy the weather. Many attractions for the kids

We heard live music, saw wildlife and enjoyed a leisurely walk. If we lived here, we'd come back often. Instead, we'll come back the next time we're in PGH.

Be ready for a walk. The park is lovely and you can easily get lost. If you are going in the winter months go prepared, it’s really chilly out here. The ice rink is kinda small but there are other activities you can do.

I think there is parking at the conservatory, but we walked from the Air BNB we were staying at so I wasn't really paying attention to parking....
