If you are in Pittsburgh and have time visit Heinz Hall and spend time with Pittsburgh symphony orchestra. Historical place with awesome architect and performances by Pittsburgh symphony orchestra or just a concert. Don't miss not to see this cool place.

I took my wife and oldest son to see this performance and it was exceptional. The acoustics were fantastic, sight lines amazing (Dress Circle) and it made for a special evening. The particular night we went they also had a middle school quartet playing in...More

Nice concert hall, originally a show theatre. We had seats really far away from the orchestra pit (Gallery K rows), so the acoustics were not the best. Interesting premiere of a tuba concert and music by Debussy and Berlioz. Enthusiastic crowd.

March 4th was only my 2nd (or 3rd) time in HH but this was the first time I paid more attention to the architectural details. What a visual treat! Acoustics was great. It was lovely to listen to pianist Benjamin Grosvenor with the PSO in...More

I went here for an 8pm comedian show and it was wonderful. The chairs are tightly packed together, but there is not a bad place to sit.

This place is beautiful and the sound is amazing too! There are no bad seats. As a matter of fact I sometimes prefer to sit at the very back (top) of the balcony. Refreshments are expensive but you are not there for that...still, there are...More

I sat there and it was pretty nice. It’s a more intimate setting because you don’t have an entire row of people that you have to move for or step over if someone happens to get up.

We like to arrive about an hour before the curtain rises. This will give you plenty of time to use the restroom, enjoy a cocktail and take in the ambience of the beautiful Heinz Hall.
