The Cathedral is the centerpiece of Pitt. It is majestic and gorgeous inside and out. It is filled with international schoolrooms all furnished and detailed to transport you to schoolrooms in countries all over the world. This is a must see for anyone visiting campus!

We were across the yard at the Heinz memorial chapel, so we thought we would check out this tall, interesting building. It was very cool to walk through. It really reminded us of being at Hogwarts! We walked through some of the Nationality rooms, which...More

Based on TA reviews I set off to find this and wasted both taxi money and my time. There is nothing to see, absolutely nothing. I should have know better when the tour guide who knew all the spots to see had no idea why...More

The city of Pittsburgh has so much to see and enjoy! In addition to the Cathedral of Learning there is The Point, The Duquesne Incline, the many bridges, and awesome food like Pirmanti Brothers, Dorito's (fish sandwich), Beto's Pizza (pizza/hoagies), Original Oyster House (seafood), and...More

Visited last holiday season when all the rooms were decorated. Dosins are students, but very knowledgeable on the history and the culture represented by the specific room. Very educational for older children and adults.

I always wondered what was in this building so now I know. The entry is incredible with architecture never to be reproduced.

Stepping inside the Cathedral of Learning puts you in the cavernous Commons Room, which is a stunning sight on its own. But see the reviews for the "Nationality Rooms" in the same building. They're the real attraction.

We toured the third floor classrooms and had a wonderfully unique experience. Each room has a recording describing the furnishings and the country. Highly recommend. Metered parking is nearby.

The Cathedral is only open until 4 PM because it is used for classrooms. Never dinners. Weekends the vending machines are available but the food court is not open for hot meals.
