I looked forward to riding this up the hill, but not so much coming down. I was fine going up, but when we came down it was a little frightening.

Bad is no AC in the summer and no heat in the winter. Daily riders like me complain incessantly about this. Depending on who's running this, the wait can be up to 5 minutes of just sitting there. Typically, the wait is about a minute....More

As a tourist I’d recommend the Duquesne Incline for views and photos of the city. Very clean and affordable and brings you to nice locations at top and bottom. This Incline is obviously used more for transportation for locals versus the Duquesne which offered more...More

The incline is easy to find and parking is easy too. The trip to the top is cozy and smooth, and exploring Shiloh street shops on top of Mt Washington is fun. Loved the trrrific view and experience of this city and its rich history.

I rode this to visit Mt. Washington. It is economical (about $7/person/RT). Be sure to face the city on both trips for the best view.
