Go up one of the two inclines, walk across the top and go out on the overlooks. Then come down on the other incline. It's a blast.

There are two inclines in Pittsburgh, and both are historic and offer beautiful views of the city, including the stadiums and the three rivers, from the top of Mt Washington. The Monongahela Incline starts in Station Square, with plenty of parking there. You ride to...More

Definitely a unique experience for all ages, and our group of teenagers were thoroughly impressed with the entire adventure. They enjoyed the cable car travel up the hill, and marveled at the steel/ wooden cables and steps. At the top of Mount Washington, they took...More

We had actually planned to take the Duquesne Incline, but there was no parking to be found close by. So we decided to try the Monongahela Incline, and we found an excellent parking spot at Station Square. In my opinion the view from this one...More

The views are very nice. The ride to get there crazy hot. Like riding in an oven to the top. The exact change no longer applies.

You need to do one of the inclines. The engineering feat is amazing. The incline is free to those who have a Medicare card. The ride down was stupendous as was the view.

Don't expect to spend large amounts of time here, as there isn't much around. However, the view, cheap ride and having a drink at a local restaurant makes it worth it. I recommend having a fig moscow mule!

To see the view of Mt Washington is amazing to do on an incline and the Monongahela Incline has an elevator for wheelchair accessibility. Coming from a special need family, I love this!

A fun, quick way to see the sights of Pittsburgh. The view from the top was excellent and it was an interesting and different public transit experience.
