Went late on a Saturday morning, firstly, you don’t need cash; most major credit cards allow you to purchase as many one way or 2 way tickets you need. Short wait, nice 7-9 min ride up and down, warm but not too hot unventilated cars....More

Buying tickets was confusing because it was from a machine and not a person. A lot of people in a small building made it a very hot wait. The ride it self was fun and we sat with a local family and chatted. The view...More

Taking the inclines while in Pittsburgh is a definite must. This incline is very nice. The cars are clean. If you can, get into the front of the car, since it has a better view. The back part is blocked a little, by the roof.

If you are a senior citizen 65+ your ride is free! Unique experience. There can be a line to ride, but, devinitely worth it.

Yes, it's a great view from the top but you can also drive there. The incline is slow, very hot, very crowded and has a limited view from any seats. Wish we had not taken it.

We enjoyed our ride on the Monongahela Incline and would recommend the quick experience should you find yourself in Pittsburgh. We would suggest driving to the top of the incline, parking, and riding it down and then back up.
