The museum was quiet and had few visitors when we were there. That allowed us to linger over the displays and artifacts and to get seats at the videos. The museum does a very good job of explaining the Fort's history and prominent role in...More

A great little find in Point State Park that focuses on the early history of the area. There is a model of Fort Pitt in the main entryway that is quite impressive. Most of the exhibits are on the second floor, and you can probably...More

If you are looking for a small museum, visit the Fort Pitt Museum. You will not be disappointed. Though it may look extremely small, there are two floors packed with knowledge about Fort Pitt and how Pittsburgh is compared to now.

Great museum on the French and Indian war as well as American Revolution. Gives tons of information and is located right on the old fort and in the park. Must see in Pittsburgh.
