    A Pittsburgh must visit
A can't miss when visiting Pittsburgh. This free (donations accepted) museum, bike shop, art exhibition will amaze. Located less than 10 min from downtown with free parking, friendly staff, and thousands of bikes and parts arranged artfully with music and other design elements. Don't miss this 1 of a kind treasure.

Bicycle Heaven is a must-see for Pittsburghers or visitors!
Bicycle Heaven is a must-see for Pittsburghers or visitors! A gem on the North Side with access if you are biking the trail, or lots of parking if you are driving over. Once inside you will be in awe of ALLLLL the bikes, thousands of them.. Famous (Pee Wee Herman, ET and Lance Armstrong) but also your heart will be filled as you remember and see bikes of your childhood. I guarentee the bike you road as well as your friends is on display. Go and Enjoy, Your heart will be filled!

If you like bikes this literally is heaven
Wow. I am a BMX guy from the 80's and 90's. This is your place. If you had bikes, loved bikes, sold bikes, gave away bikes this place is for you. I saw even bike I ever owned and every bike I ever wanted to own here. Free admission since it is an operating shop as well as a museum. I'll drag my kids here for sure. I drug my wife here on this trip and she actually thought it was cray how much STUFF is here. We will be back.

    A TOTAL MUST TO VISIT!
We found Bicycle Heaven on TA and we were totally enthralled! So many unique and special bikes, accessories and all manner of bike memorabelia from all decades (centuries too!) As Pee Wee Herman just passed away, it was especially wonderful to see one of the four bikes used for his "Big Adventure" and I loved the obvious flower tribute that had apparently been placed there when his passing was announced. Many, MANY other wonderful bikes etc to see, and all without charge with a request for donations. The owner's obvious love for all things bicycling, as well his lovely, intelligent thought-provoking and quirky sense of humor throughout his shop and museum made my day! What a find!

Oh shift! This place is cool!
This place was AWESOME!!! They had so many neat movie prop bicycles like Pee-Wee Herman’s bike, a replica ET bike, a bike from A Man Named Otto, one ridden by the Monkees, one ridden by Viola Davis in Fences and that’s just to name a few!!! The team there is also SO welcoming and friendly. They’re available to answer any questions! Truly unique and wonderful experience!

    Great fun at Bicycle Heaven
I had so much fun! Their bicycle museum must have thousands of bicycles. Every nook and cranny had something fun to explore. We rented bikes and road around this area. There was plenty of space to ride and cool industrial buildings. I will definitely bring my kiddos next time.

    Mind-boggling museum
This place is absolutely sick. Miles of cool collectible bikes and various parts and paraphernalia. Highly recommend stopping in, definitely gotta make it to the second floor. It’s HUGE up there and has a ton of cool bikes!

    Lives up to its name
Staying with friends in Pittsburgh they took us on a long bike ride, at the end of which we came to Bicycle Heaven. If you are a keen cyclist, it certainly lives up to its name. Amazing collection of bikes. Sadly we didn't have much time to fully explore it.

If you ride bikes you need to go and see this place. Absolutely amazing place with an enormous number of bikes in immaculate condition ranging from wooden bikes from the early 1900's to mint condition 1980s BMX bikes. It's simply incredible to see such a collection on display. Definitely worth a trip.

When my boyfriend told me he wanted to go to a bicycle museum I wasn't sure what to expect. What I found is one of the coolest places I've ever been to. Every nook and cranny of this place is covered with all things bicycles - floor to ceiling. Literally. I had to explore the museum at least five times on my visit and it still wasn't enough to take in all of the interesting items that have been collected over the years and displayed. You do not need to be a bicycle lover. Be a fan of nostalgia, and reminiscing about your own first bicycle and feel like a kid again.

You don't have to love bikes to find this place incredible. One could easily spend two hours in this museum. There are two floors and several rooms filled with bicycles of all shapes and sizes, old and new, big and small. I particularly liked the bike that the Monkees rode, as well as the two bikes that were wrapped around a tree after a tornado (see photos). They depend on donations and the money they get from fixing bikes. Pay what you can. (That made me give even more of a donation that I would normally give if there was an entrance fee.) The place is so much fun.

An absolutely wonderful collection of everything bicycle. Brought back wonderful childhood memories, shared historical and pop culture through the eyes of the cycling industry, and tapped into my ongoing love of riding and touring. Highly recommend!!!

We stumbled upon Bicycle Heaven in a unexpected cascade of events, and feel so incredibly grateful we did. You don't need to be a bike enthusiast to fall deeply in love with this place. The history, nostalgia, humor, and awe of this place is the stuff every city adventurer, or family memory maker, or internet influencer is looking for!

Bicycle Heave is must see. An epic collection of bike related history. If you think it is all in the first room which seems overwhelming don't stop, go upstairs.
