Great place to take the kids for a BIKE ride. Plenty of great paved trails and some off-road trails. Clean but can get crowded in the summer.

A great place to go for a walk for exercise or enjoy with the kids and family for a picnic. Some paths can be challenging on your exercise level.

Every Thursday I walk with my artist friend Kay in Tyler Park. We walk in each season aware of each other and the beauty of the trees and water and sky.

Went to Tyler State Park on Sunday because it was too nice of a day to spend inside. We packed a lunch for after our walk. The trails were really nice and well marked. I can't wait to go back and try canoeing.

Tyler has many walking trails & stream with bridge across to continue walking or biking. Park is clean & trails are kept clean. Pretty in evening when deer come out. Rangers ride around & I don't worry about safety (but keep aware). People go fishing...More
